Given the sensitive nature of the project data and active Non-Disclosure Agreements, I do not own nor can disclose any of the data for any of the projects. The below section explains in brief what the projects were, what my role was and how I was able to successfully participate or accomplish them.
Projects
This project was geared towards identifying a range of available accessibility features and their subsequent discoverability within the current versions of the platforms. I collaborated with 1 Senior Researcher & 1 Vice President of UX to execute the project and deliver the results in 4 weeks.
We assessed over 30 products to create a comprehensive availability & discoverability matrix of over 40 Accessibility feature types. The project was successfully completed within the planned timeline even including client revisions!
This was a Field Research project where more than 15 individuals from the Blind/Low Vision cohort were interviewed over a span of a week regarding the Unboxing & Set-up process for the product. I joined the project during the Field Research, Analysis & Report Development phase where I contributed as a supporting researcher to the Lead Researcher.
Daily session briefs with simultaneous analysis & insights were successfully delivered to the clients during the Field Research phase, which waterfalled into the Report Development phase where we hit the ground running to develop a comprehensive research report complete with insights in under 4 days!
This was another Field Research project where I shadowed the Lead researcher and contributed towards User Interviews, Daily session briefs and partly during Report Development. We successfully conducted all User Interviews in a week to transition into the Report Development for the project.
An end-to-end Research project which I Co-Led with another Intern, we managed to conduct User Interviews with Co-Design sessions with more than 25 participants on how technology could be used to communicate apparent & non-apparent disabilities through symbols.
Reflections & Learning
The Internship exposed me to a range of new things in context to UX research considering I come from a background of Design Consulting. Formal methods were something I had been longing to learn and Ipsos gave me the opportunity to not only learn but also implement my learning in a fast paced client first environment. My learning was not only limited to the client first side, but also on the self development side, as a result I successfully completed my Notetaking & Moderating Training for UX methods under ISO certified instructors.
